“The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome.”

~ Douglas Adams ~

Welcome to my website - I'm so glad you're here!

Primarily a landscape artist, I seek to capture those light-filled moments where time seems to stand still. My paintings are considered intimate landscapes, inviting the viewer to step near and take a closer look. It is a privilege to share my love of nature with you through my paintings and I hope you enjoy visiting my online studio.

Although creating my paintings is done purely as the work of my own heart, I do occasionally offer some specific paintings for sale, with profits donated to organizations dedicated to protecting our environment, animal welfare and mental health; and from time to time also donate some of my artwork collections to select entities. In addition to supporting animal welfare and environmental protection, I also have a special interest in mental health and wellness. Having personally struggled with post-traumatic mental illness most of my life, I know all too well the challenges of needing/wanting therapy and being unable to access or afford it. Although in the past few years I have finally been privileged to access much-needed mental health care, I realize far too many women are still struggling needlessly. So I am offering several of my framed and wired ready-to-hang paintings in exchange for donations directly to The Loveland Foundation's Therapy Fund which provides financial assistance to Black women and girls nationally seeking therapy. Please contact myself or Page158 Books in Wake Forest for more information on this.

Some of my paintings may be viewed in person at a variety of locations around the Triangle area of North Carolina including the Visitor's Center at Medoc Mountain State Park in Hollister (about an hour northeast of Raleigh), the Kirby Cultural Arts Complex Main Gallery in Roxboro, the Eno River State Park Visitor's Center in Chapel Hill, the lobby of Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness in Durham, the farmhouse at Horseshoe Farm Nature Preserve in Raleigh, and the Visitor's Center at South Mountains State Park in Connelly Springs.

I would love to hear from you! Please contact me for more information or if you have any questions, or feel free to email me directly at tammy@tammykaufman.com

Again, welcome to my website and I hope you have a beautiful day.
